Paul began his insurance career with Allstate, Crawford and Company, and the USF&G Insurance Company. While employed with these companies, he worked as a Claims Adjuster and Senior Supervisor developing experience in all lines of insurance including Auto, Property, Liability, Workers Compensation and Surety. Over the years he adjusted and supervised claims for clients such as the City of Detroit, Ford Motor Company, the Detroit Tigers and many other entities, giving him an extensive understanding of exposures, coverages and adjustment of claims.

After 14 years in the corporate environment, Paul moved into agency sales. The unique combination of company and agency experience has served him well in understanding clients’ needs. As a founding principal and co-owner of Goodman Venegas, Paul has helped guide and grow the company to become one of the leading insurance agencies in the nation.

Paul attended Most Holy Trinity Grade School, graduated from University of Detroit High School, and earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Michigan State University. For recreation he enjoys jogging, walking, and golfing.
